Liner Installations


Professionally installed swimming pool liners are the life of the pool and the new liner, proper preparation, measurement.
and installation are essential to correctly preserving the integrity of the pool and its liner.

 

  • Drain pool

  • Remove old liner and place at road for garbage.
  • Inspect pool walls (repairs may result in additional charge)(install foam if required, additional charge)
  • Inspect and prepare pool base (repairs may result in additional charge)
  • Install new liner

  • Reinstall fittings (New fittings recommended, additional charge)

 

LINER REPLACEMENT IMPORTANT NOTES

More than minor repair or rebuilding of pool base requires an additional charge. Replacement of coping requires an additional charge.

OPENINGS

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM US
  • Remove and fold swimming pool cover and place in bag (if provided) More than one (1) cover is an additional $100 fee
  • Install plugs and caps for pump and filter system, chlorinator, etc.
  • Re-install standard deck equipment. Handrails, ladders, safety line, etc. (Extra fees for installing diving boards, slides and re-assembling pump and filter if removed)
  • Start circulating system if water level permits. *Return trip fee may apply if water not up to operational level or there is no power at the time of opening.
  • Test and treat water as needed. (Customer Supplied – No Charge) (Our chemicals – $150 for ultimate opening kit)
  • We will attempt to light heater pilot light on gas heaters, if applicable. If we cannot get it lit it is up to the homeowner to light. (We do not leave heaters running)
  • Inspect and notify owner of any swimming pool problems

 

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED
  • Our service does not consist of any pool vacuuming or cleaning including but not limited to the pool itself, filter cartridges, Chlorinator cells &/or covers.
  • Unless the customer is present – we do not enter any buildings to store or retrieve pool equipment. Please have everything out by the pool in plain sight.
  • We do not service any wood stoves or solar systems.

 

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF THE CUSTOMER
  • Drain the water off the cover AND remove leaves. Have pool area cleared of furniture, planters, etc. for access to pool and anchors.
  • If you have a solid cover, add/raise water to pool up to normal operational level. (Half-way of skimmer)
  • Leave out all parts removed at closing.
  • Any solid cover left full of water, will incur an extra service charge per hour of pumping time. ($150 Minimum) Please let us know so we can schedule adequate time, or we may have to reschedule with an added fee for return trip.
  • Please inform us ahead of time if you wish us to use from your chemical supply and have them out by the pool.
  • For Salt pools, customer will want to test and add stabilizer once the pool has circulated completely and above 65 degrees.
  • For cartridge filters, we recommend soaking/cleaning your cartridges over the winter, prior to opening.

 


OPENING IMPORTANT NOTES
  • Your pump MUST come on when the switch is turned on. It is not our responsibility as part of the opening if your equipment is not in good working order.
  • Your filter MUST NOT be leaking or putting sand into the pool when turned on. It is not our responsibility as part of the opening if your equipment is not in good working order.
  • Your plumbing MUST NOT be leaking above or underground. It is not our responsibility as part of the opening for plumbing issues that should have been resolved prior to you closing your pool.
  • We will not start your pump if water is not at proper level.

 

 


CLOSINGS

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM US
  • Remove standard equipment, ladders, handrails, and pump, filter, and heater plugs. (Slides and Diving Boards DO NOT get removed)
  • Blow out lines and install customer’s plugs
  • Chemically treat water. (Customer Supplied – No Charge) (Our chemicals – $150 for ultimate closing kit)
  • Drain and winterize pump, filter, and heater. (Wood stoves and solar systems excluded)
  • Install cover. More than one (1) cover is an additional $100 fee.
  • Occasionally anchors for safety covers are stripped or require replacing. We can replace them at $30 per anchor at time of closing.
  • Inspect and notify owner of any swimming pool problems.

 

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED
  • Winterizing of wood stoves &/or Solar systems.
  • Due to the volume of pool closings, no cleaning of any sort can be done at the time of closing. Please have pool clean & water balanced prior to our arrival.
  • We will not be held responsible for water drained onto neighbor’s properties.
  • Unless the customer is present – we do not enter any buildings to store or retrieve pool equipment.

 

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF THE CUSTOMER
  • Drain the pool down two inches below the bottom skimmer face plate PRIOR to our arrival. **The exclusion to this would be if you have an automatic cover. If pool is not drained down to the proper level, we will install a skimmer plug, charged to the owner. If that is not applicable you will be billed for time, we spend waiting on pool to drain.
  • Have pool area cleared of furniture, planters, etc.
  • Have water balanced prior to our arrival. We will test and treat as needed, but it is always better for the pool to have that done in advance.
  • Cover, winterizing plugs, and any chemicals you wish us to use, should be left out in plain sight, POOLSIDE.
  • For cartridge filters, we recommend soaking/cleaning your filter cartridges over the winter, prior to opening.

 


CLOSING IMPORTANT NOTES
  • Pool chemicals should be balanced before we get there.
  • Leaves and debris must be removed from your pool. If excessive amounts of debris/leaves in pool we will not close your pool.
  • Pool vacuuming is not included. We DO NOT vacuum pools.
